Having passed throught the town Cheylard,  you will come to Mariac with its Roman bridge. A little further on, take a look at the river “Dorne”, which gave its name to the village of Dornas.

From there you climb up to Mezilhac, this beautiful belvedere, perched at an altitude of 1100m, with its gargantuan food supply for your pleasure.

Here begins your trip in the Highlands of the Ardéche. With some more effort and you will encounter “Gerbier de Jonc” the  mythical source of the Loire. Having admired the famous “Suc”, you will begin a fabulous descent through the Regional Park -  the” Mont’s d’Ardèche”. At Saint Martin de Valamas, take a look at the superb castle of Rochebonne from the 11th century, which overlooks the Eyrieux Valley. Having reached Saint Agrève, save some energy, it will come in useful to reach Rochepaule, then the pass Buisson, the last climb of the day.
