It is exceptional to be able to go until the borders of our so beautiful department.

To allow to discover more remarkable sites, lands of contrasts and particularly welcoming inhabitants we have create a shorter course “ La Méridionale-Croix du Loup”.

The shortened distance consists in joining directly  Saint Martin d’Ardèche while discovering the picturesque village of Bidon.  At Saint Martin, where arrives the kayakers of the descents of the gorges, by a suspension bridge, you will enter the department of the Gard and you will be surprised by the medieval atmosphere of Aiguèze.

At Sainte-Marguerite-Lafigère begins a sacred challenge: 15 km of ascent of the pass of “Teste Rouge” (Test Red) before falling over towards the mountain village of Montselgues.

By arriving at the pass of the Chap del Bosc, you will have the possibility of choosing by going up all the route of the Montagne-Ardéchoise  or by turning to the right, by a road of crest, to join directly Loubaresse and to join the route of the “Tanargue”. On about 10 km you will pedal against direction of the cyclist there which make other distances.

4 different itineraries are offered.

1. La Méridionale-Pas du Loup-Sucs 532km. Change in altitude 8700m. Cols 29.

2. La Méridionale-Pas du Loup 590km. Change in altitude 9755m. Cols 34.

3. La Méridionale-Allier 572km. Change in altitude: 9570m Cols34.

4. La Méridionale- Montagne Ardéchoise 630km.  Change in altitude 10625m. Cols 36.
