Medical Certificate

Law n° 99-223 on protecting the health of sportsmen/women on preventing the consumption of illicit drugs was passed by the French National Assembly on March 23, 1999.

Under the provisions of this new law, all French or non-French sportsmen/women are required to produce proof of their fitness to participate in competitions. Such proof must be in the form of a medical certificate issued by a doctor following a medical examination.

A medical certificate must be supplied at registration: this can be a photocopy of your license, recognized by the UCI.

Without a medical certificate, you will not be allowed to participate in the competition of the Ardéchoise.

* You must be in possession of a medical certificate issued less than 12 months prior to the Ardéchoise, testifying that you are fit to participate in cycle competitions.

* The original certificate or a copy a photocopy of your license, recognized by the UCI  must be send to the organisers attached to  your entry form and payment when you register for the Ardéchoise.
